Styrian Summer Art: Poetic practice between words, images, and the world
General Information
Workshop Description:
Poetry proximity is an artistic practice that enriches your everyday life through a poetic perception of the world. We stroll, jot down notes, take photos, sketch. Discover the special and surprising in the seemingly insignificant. Seek the beauty in the obvious. Bring more shine to our everyday life.
Wandering, looking, thinking, and noting allow yourself to drift, give space to chance and poetry - to what comes to you in words, things, colors, images, sounds, smells.
Playfully and experimentally, we move between text and image. We try out different short text types, montages, collages, and visual poetry.
You can expand your texts with images, create postcards, and find entirely new forms for your words and sentences, sending them out into the world. There are no limits to imagination.
