Styrian Summer Art: When Words Grow into Pictures – Illustration |Michael Roher
General Information
Workshop Description:
Pick up text impulses and translate them into images, experiment with techniques like monotype, collage, or transfer printing, or freely draw in playful settings: This workshop offers diverse opportunities for anyone who wants to paint, draw, and print in a creative atmosphere and explore the broad field of illustration.
Each of the three days, you will learn at least one technique that you can try out in a subsequent working phase based on a text impulse. Additionally, you will gain insights into essential aspects of the art of illustration and image composition, as well as professional support in implementing your ideas.
Whether you want to illustrate a book yourself or simply wish to broaden your artistic horizons – this workshop invites you to discover the playful interaction between text and image with ease and joy.
