Styrian Summer Art: The vessel: creative expression in clay |Sieglinde Hofbauer
General Information
Workshop Description:
Dive into the fascinating world of ceramics and discover the deep connection between form and emotion.
In this workshop, the focus is initially on shaping – for a successful form can tell stories and touch our innermost being. This is not just about technique, but about the dialogue with the material clay.
We work process-oriented and let ourselves be guided by our feelings. What sparks joy and "delight" in us is at the center of our creative process. The vessel you create becomes a three-dimensional canvas on which the inside and outside come into relation. With structures, lines, colors, and surfaces, you design the surface and create a piece that carries your very personal signature.
Let yourself be inspired by the magic of clay and create unique ceramics that are more than just vessels – they are an expression of your soul.
The workshop takes place in the studio of the ceramicist – a 250-year-old, bright vaulted cellar and the Big Glass Door Studio with a view of Pöllauberg.
