Styria's culture, cuisine and diverse landscapes are a sight (and taste!) to behold no matter the season. However, from late spring to autumn, these three become even more inseparably intertwined.

Thanks to the well-thought-out programme of "Kulturgenuss im Grünen" (cultural enjoyment outdoors), visitors benefit from a variety of exquisite cultural offers and events. From late spring to fall, these three characteristics move even closer together - and with a coordinated program around the "cultural enjoyment in the countryside", unite exquisite cultural programs again this year.

Cultural events for connoisseurs

In green meadows, in lush vineyards, in flower gardens, on idyllic alpine pastures, in stunning palace gardens or in beautiful courtyards: Cultural events in Styria often take place outdoors, especially from May to October. That's when the event calendar holds a wide variety of activities and highlights in store – all the way from the alpine north to the fertile south, from the mountains to the Wine Country.

You could marvel at contemporary art in the Austrian Sculpture Park, for instance. Or visit Styrian castles and palaces along the Castle Road, surrounded by mountain views and vineyards. Historic monasteries and convents such as Admont Abbey can be explored on a guided tour.
