As summer slowly draws to a close and the Murtal valley is bathed in warm shades of gold, red and orange, a truly special season begins: Z’HERBST – the Murtal Swiss Pine Autumn.

This is certainly not the time to put away your hiking boots. Quite the opposite: autumn is the perfect opportunity to soak up the last warm rays of sunshine while enjoying beautiful hikes through the Seetal Alps, the Rottenmann Tauern and the picturesque valley landscapes.

Down in the valley, the region’s well-developed cycling junction network provides ideal conditions for exploring the Murtal by bike and enjoying a memorable ride through the colourful autumn scenery of Z’HERBST.
