Cycling star ride day 2 of 5 - hilly country tour (Radsternfahrt Tag 2 von 5 - Hügellandtour)

Open
The second day of the cycling tour in the Styrian Volcano Country leads from Feldbach to Bad Gleichenberg, Straden, Hochstraden, back to Bad Gleichenberg and ends in feldbach.
From the district capital of Feldbach in the heart of the thermal and volcanic country, the route heads south to Bad Gleichenberg. The traditional health resort lies at the foot of the Gleichenberger Kogel - the older volcanoes of the region. Via Straden with its four churches, the route leads to the Frutten-Gießelsdorf lookout and via Hochstraden, the highest volcano in the region, back to Bad Gleichenberg. From Bad Gleichenberg it is recommended to cover the remaining distance to Feldbach comfortably with the Dschungelexpress.

Note: with the racing bike you should avoid the 2 natural roads / forest paths and at KM 7.5 left down to Gossendorf, then in Gossendorf pointed to the right up the hill and at the top of the hill to the right towards Bad Gleichenberg (+ of approx. 1 KM) at KM 31 (32) straight down to Frutten-Giesselsdorf; then left up to Hochstraden (tw. 18% slope) and straight up to Steinbach (+ of about 2 KM) Results: 58KM and 1,114 HM (without Landesbahn).
