This is a moderately difficult hike, which, however, offers fantastic viewpoints.
This route offers the perfect opportunity to get to know the village of Gotthardsdorf better. Furthermore, there are fantastic viewpoints to linger. In addition, some sections of the trail are away from the busy road, far into the forest areas. In this regard, you can really enjoy the nature of the Murau region.

More information

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Drive straight on until you reach Gotthardsdorf (Perchau am Sattel).

Coming from Tamsweg drive via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur) to Murau. Turn right here and drive via Laßnitz, St. Lambrecht and Mariahof to Neumarkt. Turn left here and drive to Gotthardsdorf (Perchau am Sattel).

The starting point here is Perchau am Sattel. Walk away from the main square to the left in the direction of Moar am Gstein. Keep to the right and walk along the Schlurtbauernweg and Hahnfalzbergweg to Edling. Follow the path until you reach the small village of Zirtschner. Shortly after the village keep to the right and hike under the Trattnerkogel to Krippler. The last section of the trail leads along the main road back to the starting point.
