Philosophise a little about wine with the winemaker directly on site, taste the fine drops and discuss taste, aroma and finish. No one has more detailed knowledge about wine than the producers themselves. Step by step, the wine is accompanied and shaped by its winemaker.

A wine tasting in southern Styria is a very personal affair. The winemaker takes the time to guide their guests through the winery or their vineyard and give them an insight into their treasures. There is laughter, questions are answered and, of course, tasting ensues. The different tastes and aromas are debated, and the colour and finish of the wine are analysed in detail. You can't get any closer to the wine, so simply drop by the winemaker's "home".

Visit wineries

Many wineries in Southern Styria welcome visitors during their regular opening hours. It’s a wonderful opportunity to taste wines where they’re made, meet the people behind them, learn about each winery and its distinctive style, and perhaps take home a bottle or two.
