A wonderful hike through the picturesque hilly countryside.

The trail leads toward Nikolaiberg to Lamperstätten. At the chapel in Lamperstätten, keep right toward Mollitsch. The route continues via Spitzberg to Muggenau and then back to St. Nikolai im Sausal. Enjoy the region’s diversity and picturesque scenery—take your time and savor the moment!

Coming from Graz on the A9, take the Leibnitz exit and continue toward Kaindor–Muggenau until you reach St. Nikolai im Sausal.

The trail leads in the direction of Nikolaiberg to Lamperstätten. At the chapel in Lamperstätten, keep right in the direction of Mollitsch. Via Spitzberg to Muggenau, the route leads back to St. Nikolai i. S.

The nostalgic Hermann Heritage Farm is located a little off the beaten path, but it’s definitely worth a visit! Here, you’ll find everyday items that farmers and craftsmen have used over the centuries.

Many starting points for our hikes in southern Styria can also be reached by public transport.

For a relaxed and sustainable journey, we recommend travelling by bus and train wherever possible. Depending on the region, additional local transport options are available.

This allows you to start your tour stress-free while also contributing to climate and nature conservation.
