Through the Bärenschützklamm from Mixnitz

• From the starting point at the car park of the Bärenschützklamm gorge near Mixnitz (municipality of Pernegg), we walk for about 1 hour on the long-distance hiking trail 702/745, uphill to the cascade fall and in the gorge-like valley further to the Hans Kerl hut, the "Kassierhütte".
• We go up to the right, now the most beautiful part of the trail begins with the climb through the gorge. Over bridges and ladders, and finally over a hiking trail, we walk for a good hour up to the inn "Zum Guten Hirten".
• If you wish, you can reach the "Steirischer Jockl" and the pilgrimage church of Schüsserlbrunn after another half hour of ascent.
• From the "Guten Hirten" we return via trail 746 to the junction with trail 22.
• This again leads to trail 745, which we follow until we finally arrive back at our starting point.

The bus line no. 167 runs regularly between Breitenau and Mixnitz.
