In 1946 the foundation stone for the Alpine Garden fell.
The trick fountains, an alpine garden full of gnomes, forest grimaces, castles, mill wheels made of wood, tin and stone, belonging to the Wiedner family in Waldbach are a very popular destination for young and old and are located directly on the Styrian Flower Road. For more than 42 years, Fritz Wiedner built his life's work, the "Water Games". He made hundreds of objects that are only operated with water power, such as: the Kaprun power plant, the Erzberg, the Dachstein cable car, Peter Rosegger's Waldheimat, mills from the surrounding area that have long since decayed and much more. Discover and be amazed.
Due to renovation work in 2024, opening hours may change!
