The transition from summer to autumn is heralded in Joglland with the traditional Almabtrieb on September 8 from the Hochwechsel. The animals, which get their ornaments at the Kaltwiesenhütte, are driven off to the "Almwiese Ehrenhöfer Ludwig", where they get their crowns. There, at the official ceremony at 2 p.m., visitors can expect lively music and traditional groups provide entertainment. This Almabtrieb, which is always accompanied by many onlookers, is organized by the farmers' association and the Mönichwald pasture community.
