Tatiana Eva-Marie is a bandleader, singer, writer and actress living in Brooklyn. She plays French pop from the Django tradition with Balkan gypsy and folk influences.
With over 70 million views on YouTube, Tatiana Eva-Marie has been described by Vanity Fair magazine as a "millennial" who is shaking up the jazz scene. Tatiana was born into a family of musicians, painters and poets and began her career at the age of four. Before the age of twenty, she had already established herself as an actress on the Parisian stage, writing and directing two musicals while completing a Masters in Medieval Studies at the Sorbonne. She soon chose New York as her home, where she founded the Avalon Jazz Band, which overnight became the first address for French swing in the whole world. Tatiana's latest project DJANGOLOGY is a reinterpretation of the music of Parisian guitarist Django Reinhardt, the father of gypsy jazz, which she complements with her own lyrics and arrangements.
