DIXIE & SWINGFESTIVAL - Popp Brothers & Friends

His younger brother Marton (21), a clarinettist and saxophonist, is already benefiting from the network of his brother Mátyás (the trumpeter). Wherever "Mati" appears, bands, ensembles and big bands are open to him and the Viennese scene in particular responds enthusiastically to this exceptional talent. If you believe internationally recognized stars such as Rossano Sportiello or Carmen Bradford, Márton Papp is a great jazz musician in the making. Márton has been studying saxophone at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts since 2022. Mátyás and Márton Papp are joined by Mátyás Bartha (piano), Thomas Scherrer (guitar, banjo) and Martin Treml (bass). This unique line-up will be playing in good old Viennese Heurigen style at the Kulturheurigen Weiz (in case of bad weather, Kunsthaus Weiz, Foyer).
