Dear course participants!
The vienna clarinet connection is once again the musical driving force behind the 17th ClariArte Hartberg and offers a course program with individual lessons and various focus subjects that stands out from other master classes. This year, Sergey Kim will join Yu-Hsuan Lin as accompanist for the first time. He teaches at the Bruckner University and at the MDW in Vienna.
In the opening concert, the vienna clarinet connection and the Simone Kopmajer Band will make the wonderful Schlosshof resound. The second major concert will feature Gerald Preinfalk and his quintet for the first time. He is one of the most outstanding jazz clarinettists and saxophonists in Austria.
For the 5th time, Dr. Ari Kummer is donating a prize for the winner of the audition simulation and a prize at the final concert in the amount of € 500 and € 1,000 respectively. Thank you very much!
Young and young at heart are very welcome at our course and make this clarinet festival a unique experience every year. Helmut Hödl always knows how to find new musical accents and works around the clock for 9 days with his ensemble colleagues and accompanists.
