The 28-kilometer circuit takes us past several inns, wine taverns and the Ringwarte, the excursion destination at the high point of the tour.

On this tour there are several wine taverns, inns and of course the Hartberg Ringwarte with a view beyond the borders of Hartberg as far as Lake Balaton.

More information
We start at the Park & Ride parking lot and head towards Hartberg to turn right onto the Waldangerweg, which we follow first on asphalt and then on gravel to Eggendorf, which we reach after the Kernbichler bakery. The Eggendorfwirt inn is a good place to stop for a bite to eat. We continue past the children's playground and then turn left over the Greinbach to head towards Wolfgrub. After approx. 1 km turn right over the Greinbach and immediately after the bridge turn left into Bacherweg. Follow a dirt road along the stream to Neudorf, which you reach after crossing under the Wechselbundesstraße. Continue along the road straight on to Penzendorf.
At the rest area on the Ringwarte, we can relax after the sweaty ascent and enjoy some refreshments.
