Based on "Macbeth all'improviso" by Gigio Brunello and Gyula Molnar.
The puppeteer, obsessed with ambition, is planning a performance of Shakespeare's "Macbeth". When his old Punch and Judy puppets learn that they are not allowed to take part, a rebellion breaks out: behind the puppeteer's back, the ensemble begins the tragedy at their own risk.
