The five young musicians perform real classics from the the "Golden Age", the heyday of tango argentino, revive them. Simply Tango is based on the original the original arrangements of the great masters such as Julián Plaza or Horacio Salgán and performs some of the most popular tangos, including Danzarín and El Choclo.
Another item on the program is Astor Piazzolla, who ultimately expanded the Argentine tango with elements from popular music and jazz, Argentine folklore and European art music, thus creating the tango nuevo. Simply Tango completes this journey through musical Argentina with a performance of contemporary tango compositions.
