Styrian Bettina Oswald trained in acting, dancing and singing at the Vienna Conservatory and was engaged as a musical actress in German-speaking countries before returning to her piano and songwriting. She started out in the vineyards of southern Styria as the mouthpiece songwriter "Betty O" and traveled as far as Germany and Switzerland, becoming the first Austrian to win the international cultural exchange prize "Freiburger Leiter" in the performing arts genre. As an author, she writes and composes humorous and thought-provoking songs, which she releases in produced form on her independent label "bettyomusic" and performs live on the piano as an entertainer.
