Spring Sonata
Works by Franz Schubert, Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Liszt, Eduard Kutrowatz, Richard Strauss and Bela Kovacs. The versatile and exceptional musician Andrea Götsch, principal clarinettist with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, joins pianist Eduard Kutrowatz, a frequent guest at concerts in Gamlitz, on a journey of sound that ranges from Beethoven to Strauss and from classical music to klezmer. Starting with Beethoven's famous "Spring Sonata" - this time in a virtuosically touching version for clarinet and piano - Andrea Götsch will exhaust all the sound colors of the clarinet and perform his composition "In den Süden" for the first time in a chamber music dialogue with Eduard Kutrowatz.
