The Heart-Wines
Ideal for toasting together
After the great success in previous years, three heart wines were again chosen in 2025 by Styrian Tourism and Location Marketing GmbH together with Wein Steiermark. Around 60 wines were tasted by an expert jury - here are our winners.
Around 60 regional wines of the 2025 vintage were tested by an expert jury in a blind tasting. The grape varieties available were Sauvignon Blanc, Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Blauer Wildbacher (Schilcher), and Yellow Muscat. These varieties represent the so-called DAC regional wines and represent the three Styrian wine regions in their full extent.
In a final round, 3 wines each from the DAC regions South Styria, Styrian Vulkanland, and West Styria were tasted again.

During the course of the year, the wines will be available for tasting at events organized by Steirische Tourismus und Standortmarketing GmbH and at selected inns.
