Characteristics
SkillThe tour in numbers
Starting from the Bad Blumau visitor information centre, we walk along the main road and, after about 100 metres, turn right and cross the wooden bridge. We then turn left into the Bad Blumau spa and health park. Following the gravel path, we pass the Taubenkobel and the biotope. We will also discover several stops along the “Zukunft spazierendenken” nature and culture trail. The stone wall lends the spa park a Mediterranean flair. The shade of the willow arbour makes for a pleasant spot to rest. Now the golden dome of the Rogner Bad Blumau comes into view. The architecture by Friedensreich Hundertwasser is colourful and features golden elements. Following the gently babbling Safenbach stream, we reach the small village of Schwarzmannshofen. We keep to the left and visit this tranquil spot. At the junction by the wayside shrine, we also turn left. After about 200 metres, we turn right onto Hochwaldweg. Here we enter the forest; at the next junction, we turn left again and follow the forest path. At the end of the forest, we turn left and then right across the road onto Thermenweg. We follow this to the parish church, where we switch to Kirchenweg; at the end of the path, we turn left back onto the main road and return to the starting point.
