A leisurely walk along the village streets and cycle path without any significant inclines.

The hike begins at the Sulmtalhalle car park. Follow the signs towards Dorfstraße. Turn left before the village chapel and follow Leitenweg. At the wayside shrine, turn right and then immediately left again towards the chapel in Distelhof. Cross the road and keep right at the crossroads. At the next crossroads, turn left into Plöderlbergstraße. The path continues through the forest towards Maierhof. Cross the B74 federal road and keep right towards Affahrtmühle. From the mill, the path continues to the left towards the federal road, then cross the road and keep right. After approx. 600 m, turn left into Dorfstraße and you will return to the starting point.

Coming from Graz via the A9, take the Leibnitz exit. Follow the B74 to Heimschuh - Fresing - Maierhof - Pistorf.

From the Gasthof Schatz car park, follow the markings in the direction of Dorfstraße. Turn right towards Maierhof and right again towards Affahrtmühle. From the mill, the trail leads in the direction of the main road and continues along Dorfstraße back to the starting point.

Take advantage of this opportunity and visit the Kremsner oil mill.

Many starting points for our hikes in southern Styria can also be reached by public transport.

For a relaxed and sustainable journey, we recommend travelling by bus and train wherever possible.
