The "NaturKRAFTpark" is located in the center of the Pöllau Valley Nature Park - an amusement park for the soul, a fitness trail for the senses!

"Hearing", "seeing", "feeling"... are abilities that we take for granted, so they don't seem particularly great to us.

But ultimately it depends on our ability to experience how we encounter our environment, what the world and our own nature can reveal to us.

The Hinterbrühl also offers a children's playground, a running track, romantic, hilly walking paths with wonderful resting and relaxation areas and a sunbathing lawn with play facilities for children in the bed of the Safen stream. The bee show trail along the "Nature Park Adventure Trail" also begins here. The Hinterbrühl area is a guarantee for physical and mental relaxation!

Pöllau, castle park

The Pöllau Valley Nature Park is located in the heart of Eastern Styria, the garden of Austria, approx. 60 km north-east of Graz and approx. 150 km south of Vienna

By car from Vienna
If you are driving from Vienna to Pöllau bei Hartberg, take the A2 towards Graz and drive about 110 kilometres until you reach the Hartberg exit. From there, follow the B54 in the direction of Pöllau.

By car from Graz
To get to Pöllau bei Hartberg from Graz, take the A2 motorway in the direction of Vienna. After about 30 kilometres, take the Gleisdorf West exit and then take the B54 towards Hartberg/Pöllau. Follow the B54 for about 25 kilometres until you reach Pöllau.

By car from Salzburg
To get to Pöllau bei Hartberg from Salzburg, take the A1 motorway towards Vienna. Drive about 110 kilometres to exit 109 (Salzburg junction). There change to the A9 motorway in the direction of Graz. At St. Michael, follow the S6 towards Kapfenberg. Continue on the S6 until the Krieglach exit. From there, take the B72 and then the L405 to Pöllau.

We start this hike in the castle park.
The path leads us north along Ortenhofenstraße to a wayside shrine and the blue house of the Almbauer mill and bakery, where we turn left up the path and meet the yellow/blue markings as well as the signposts to NaturKRAFTPark and Hotel Gruber.
We follow the course of the water channel (Brühlbach) into the Pöllauer Naherholungsparadies Hinterbrühl with the NaturKRAFTpark.
Shortly after the barbecue area, we reach the natural swimming pond with biotope and beach volleyball court at Hotel Gruber.
Return along the same route to the Almbauer bakery/Ortenhofenstraße.
As an alternative to Ortenhofenstraße, we now follow the signs - a few meters north of the bakery - to the outdoor pool, and then walk through the adjacent Aupark with the pond and a large children's playground back to the starting point in the castle park.

The pure walking time from the castle park to the NaturKRAFTpark in Hinberbrühl is 30 minutes - you should allow at least 1.5 to 2 hours in total.
