Your adventure begins here at Garber Wine & Gourmet.

The adventure trail takes you through picturesque vineyards, past our curious free-range pigs who accompany you with cheerful grunts, before you descend deep into the mystical Stille Tal valley. Amidst moss-covered stones and shady glances of the forest in unspoilt nature, you’ll come across the remains of the old Garber watermill – a window into times gone by. Learn fascinating facts about the traditional craft of glassmaking and follow the trail further into the impressive Kohlenklamm gorge, where nature, history and adventure merge to create a truly special experience.

Coming from Graz via the A9, take the A2 towards Klagenfurt at the Graz-West motorway junction. Take the Lieboch exit and follow the B76 towards Lannach-Deutschlandsberg-Bad Schwanberg-Wies-Eibiswald – until you reach Genusswelt Garber.

Many starting points for our hikes in southern Styria can also be reached by public transport.

For a relaxed and sustainable journey, we recommend travelling by bus and train wherever possible. Depending on the region, additional local transport options are available.
