Winter tours

Between the Dachstein and the Styrian Wine Country

Whether you want to tackle the big ski tours or a leisurely toboggan ride, serene winter hiking or sporty snowshoe tours… Styria's diverse landscape is the place to go for all your winter holidays.

The offer for all nature lovers who want to relax away from the slopes ranges from cross-country ski runs over Austria's national ski tour on the Dachstein to the tour trips between Gesäuse, Hochschwab and Zirbitzkogel. The now quite numerous high-altitude, snow shoe tours and winter hiking trails with fantastic panoramic views of the Styrian mountain scenery and beyond are a special feature and a truly impressive and memorable experience.

In many towns in Styria, you can go uphill with your toboggan on foot or with a lift and then downhill into the valley quickly - whether by day or at night on one of the numerous toboggan runs, which are equipped with floodlights, turning night into day.
