Mur Cycle Path in summer
Once merchants trekked south along this route, from Salzburger Land, through Styria, to the Slovenian border and the historical town of Bad Radkersburg. Follow them along the Mur through lush natural scenery, which is home to over 200 species of bird. If you are a fan of contrasts, you will have just as much fun on the secluded farmsteads of mountain farmers in Lungau as in the pulsating state capital of Graz, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site and City of Design.
