From Narzissen Vital Resort - Solebad & Suitenhotel or from Hotel Wasnerin down to the train station, along the Traun River, up to Sarstein and back again.
Varied round from the Reiterer Plateau away (Narzissen Vital Resort Bad Aussee, Hotel Wasnerin) via Öfnerstraße to the train station.

Continue relaxing along the Koppentraun to the lowest point of Bad Aussee.

The ascent to the village of Sarstein can be sprinted through or taken quite comfortably.

Return via the Sarsteinstraße, which has little traffic.

Plan your journey to Bad Aussee with google.at/maps
From Narzissen Vital Resort Bad Aussee head southeast, at the end of the parking lot continue to Teichstraße. Turn right onto Wilhelm-Kienzl-Strasse and then immediately left onto Sommersbergseestrasse. Shortly after, at the next left turn, continue straight ahead along the dirt road and follow the signs towards Bad Aussee train station.

At the train station go downstream along the Koppental-Landesstraße for a short distance and at the barrier continue along the Austegweg. Follow the trail until you pass the sewage treatment plant and up to the footbridge to Sarstein.

Via Sarsteinstraße you return to the Lerchenreither Plateau and the starting points Narzissen Vital Resort Bad Aussee and Hotel Die Wasnerin are not to be missed.

Free Parking is available at the Narzissen Vital Resort. From there the hike starts directly.
