Once upon a time, traders travelled this route south from the Salzburg region through Styria to the historic town of Bad Radkersburg close to the Slovenian border. Follow them along the Mur through the most diverse natural landscapes between Mureck and Bad Radkersburg. Along the way, you will also encounter international cycling tours – as EuroVelo 9 is also run on the Spielfeld-Bad Radkersburg section and EuroVelo 14 on the St. Michael-Graz section.
