From sheep to wonderfully warm slippers!
A sheep's fleece is surrounded by a scale layer (cuticle), warm water opens this scale layer and
the scales stand up. Through the processing (rubbing, fulling) the scales hook into each other and
the wool structure shrinks.

The sheared sheep fleece is thoroughly washed before our processing, freed from dirt, and carded into a loose fleece. We wrap the wool around a suitable foot template and felt it with warm soapy water until it becomes stable. Finally, the shape is cut open, the slipper is shaped to fit the foot, and dried.
