In Altaussee, the Loser cable cars offer a unique opportunity to experience the sunrise over the Totes Gebirge. The comfortable ascent is made with the Loser Panoramabahn, followed by admiring the sunrise on Loser and then enjoying the mountain breakfast at the Loseralm.
At 1600 meters above sea level, a magical atmosphere already prevails when everything in the valley, from the Ausseerland, is still asleep. The Loser cable cars invite you to exclusive early rides on the local mountain Loser. This lives up to the motto, “The early bird enjoys the sunrise.”
Upon arrival on the mountain, the impressive minutes around the sunrise are enjoyed. In the back area of the Augstsee, this moment is reflected in the water, creating an unforgettable experience.
Right afterwards, a delicious mountain breakfast awaits early risers at the Loseralm. Experience how Altaussee and the neighboring towns below in the valley awaken, while enjoying the atmosphere and breakfast in the mountain restaurant.
The breakfast is available until 10:00 a.m. Afterwards, make use of the day to explore the various thematic hiking trails, as the return trip to the valley can take place until 4:30 p.m.
