Discover Altaussee literarily: Home, retreat, and source of inspiration
During the summer holidays, the Literary Village Walk through Altaussee with Hermann Schröttenhamer is offered every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
The tour starts in the Kurpark next to the Kurhaus Building in the heart of Altaussee, where the Literature Museum is also located. The tour takes you past the refuges of literary figures, composers, painters, and nobility who have found their home and source of strength for their creations in Altaussee.
The literary walk ends back at the starting point after one to one and a half hours. A great opportunity to fill your summer holidays in Ausseerland with a genuine experience!

Requirements
Registration must be done directly with Mr. Schröttenhamer at +43 670 402 00 27 no later than 6:00 PM the day before!
The village walk takes place with a minimum of five people.
FAQ / good to know
For the hiking distance of 1.4 kilometers, we will be on our way for about 1.5 hours. Since half of the trail is on gravel, we recommend sturdy footwear.
Meeting point
In the bookshop of the Literature Museum. This is located on the ground floor of the Kur- und Amtshaus Altaussee.
Payment conditions
The walk is paid in cash at the bookstore of the Literature Museum.
