From the sea to the mountains at Loser

General Information
Experience earth history, that's the motto of today's hike to the summit of the Altausseer local mountain.
The registered hikers will meet on October 02, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. at the valley station of the Loser Panorama Lift. After that, the group will take the Panorama Lift up to Loser.
The "Loser Round" starts at the mountain station of the Loser Panorama Lift and takes us together to the crystal clear Augstsee. From there, the ascent to the Loser Window, a popular photo spot on Loser, will take place before continuing over the Hochanger to the Loser Summit at 1838 meters above sea level. A breathtaking panoramic view of the Ausseerland, the Dachstein massif, and the Dead Mountains is the reward.
After reaching the summit, the descent to the Loser Hut begins, where today's hike concludes.
Along the way, Nadine Guggenberger, a hiking guide and geographer, makes the formation of the landscape tangible - from geological processes to the alpine shaping of the surroundings.

Meeting point
At 8:00 a.m. at the valley station of the Loser Panoramabahn, the group will then ride together to the Loser.
