A traditional "Plättenfahrt" flatboat ride between nature & cuisine
On a ride with the "Genuss-Plätt'n" boat of the tavern "Seewiese Altaussee", all culinary enthusiasts experience an unforgettable culinary experience, surrounded by the dreamlike scenery around Lake Altaussee.
In the backdrop between the Altausser local mountain Loser and the impressive Trisselwand, with a view up to mount Dachstein, culinary delights from the kitchen of the Seewiese Altaussee are served on a traditional "Plätte": a typical wooden flatboat of the Ausseerland region. The "Plätten"-guide silently navigates the flatboat across Lake Altaussee, which is affectionately called the "inkpot." Culinary delights while the unique landscape of the Ausseerland region slowly passes by the guests: a unique experience between nature and cuisine that will be remembered for a long time.

The Plätte is suitable for a maximum of ten people.
Meeting point
The tour with the beautiful, traditional Ausseer-Plätte begins optionally in Altaussee or directly at the jetty of the Seewiese.
Price information
An hour's trip on the Plätte costs 170 euros, the Seewiesen delicatessen board is charged per person and the trip can be booked from 11.00 a.m.
