Snow is guaranteed! Top-tracked cross-country trail with rustic refreshment stops. The trail leads through the entire municipal area from Wald to Unterwald. The two trails are connected with each other. A deep winter landscape accompanies the winter sportsmen and offers a perfect contrast to the hectic everyday life.

Three entrances give the guest the choice of different routes. 3 interlocking circuits allow the cross-country skier to decide for himself whether he wants to run only a short circuit or the full 10 km.

Unique is certainly also that an entrance is directly at the train station.

More information

From the south:

A9 Graz, Leoben, St. Michael to Kalwang, then exit to the B 113, after 7 km Wald am Schoberpaß.

From the north:

A9 Liezen to Treglwang, then exit to the B113, after 6 km Wald am Schoberpaß.

We start at the entrance directly at the elementary school and walk in the direction NW past the train station, into the Walder Moor and past the recreational lake, back along a circular route with a view of the local mountain "Großer Schober". Then we cross a small forest area and return to the starting point.

If we have enough strength, we walk from the starting point in a southerly direction to the Unterwald district, where we have a beautiful view of the "Liesinger Berge". Passing the evangelic church we start our way back and finally we have completed about 10 km classic or skating. Throughout own classic and skating track!
