Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here towards Murau. After Niederwölz turn left. The parking lot is right next to the IBS company in Teufenbach.
Coming from Murau via Katsch an der Mur and Frojach. Turn right in the village of Teufenbach. The parking lot is right next to the IBS company in Teufenbach.
The starting point for this hike is in Teufenbach. From here, you walk along the main road to the train station in Mariahof. Turn right and walk across the Grebenzen golf course along the main road to Thajagraben. After the Thajagraben, turn right and walk via St. Blasen and Karchau to the logistics center of the Murau brewery. Here you turn right again and walk to the traffic circle and keep left until you reach the double traffic circle. Here you turn right towards Ranten. At the Murau/Stolzalpe local heating building, turn around and take the same route back to the traffic circle at the Spar supermarket. From here, walk uphill along the main road to Käferhube. At the Käferhube we turn back and walk past the Lidl supermarket and the Landforst forest, along the cycle path via Saurau and Frojach back to the starting point.
