The culturally rich Calvary tour

Open
The Calvary circular tour starts in St. Radegund near Graz. This trail leads dedicated hikers in the west of the village up to the Novystein at 910 m above sea level. Passing springs with heavy water flow, Ehrenfels Castle and the forest nature trail at Novystein, you will be rewarded with cultural highlights at the end: the recently completely renovated Calvary with the Hermitage and the beautiful parish church.
The 22 springs are strung together like a string of pearls along the extensive hiking trails in the spa town of St. Radegund near Graz - each of these beautifully captured springs tells its own story.

Die Landeshauptstadt Graz ist nur 19 km von St. Radegund entfernt, in einer halben Stunde erreichen sie mit den Auto den Ausgangspunkt der Tour beim Curcafe in St. Radegund

At the starting point, the Curcafe St. Radegund, follow the road uphill until you reach the "Scherbauerwiese" ski lift, where you turn left and discover the first spring, the "Theresen Quelle". You then pass the Tibetan Bön Center and follow the path in the direction of the Pension Insurance Special Hospital, where you then follow the path downhill to the "Silent Spring".

Continue past the Hohenwartstein and uphill to the Melanie spring. Continue along the forest path or the municipal path until you reach the Ehrenfels castle ruins. After a short descent, the trail then climbs back up to the Katharina spring and on to the Novystein with its beautiful views.

Follow the same path back to the Katharina spring and then continue downhill to the Räuber and Emilien springs until you reach the municipal road. Here you keep left, past the Roschker spring and reach the St. Radegund Calvary with its hermit and Calvary spring. You then return to the starting point of the tour, the Curcafe St. Radegund.
