Detailed information on how to get there can be found here.
On this penultimate stage, the route leads across meadows, alpine pastures and past farmsteads. One notable stop is the Oswaldbauer, a historic former court building where farmers once had to deliver their tithes. Today, it serves as an inn and checkpoint – look out for the ceiling beams, which date back to 1444.
The route continues across the Veitschalpe and on to Veitsch, the final stop before reaching the destination of Mariazell.
