Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here towards Murau.

Coming from Tamsweg via Ranten or Stadl an der Mur, drive straight on to Murau.

The trail starts above the Murau outdoor pool and runs directly towards it. The trail runs along the right side of the outdoor pool and turns off below the Leonharditeich pond. From here you return to the starting point along almost the same route.
The ideal time for this cross-country skiing route is from January to March.
