Combine the natural experience of the Günstner waterfall with a short hike!
With a drop of 65 meters, the Günstner Wasserfall is the highest waterfall in Styria! 250-300 liters of water per second fall over primary rocks in three impressive cascades into the valley basin! Combined with the small waterfall circuit, it's an "exhilarating" experience for the whole family.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Turn right here and drive towards Murau. In Katsch an der Mur keep right and drive via St. Peter am Kammersberg to Schöder. Turn right here and head towards Krakau. The Günster waterfall is on the right.
Coming from Tamsweg via Ranten, keep left towards Schöder. Turn right here and head towards Krakau. The Günster waterfall is on the right.
The starting point is the “Günstner Wasserfall” nature experience. You reach the forest road via wooden steps and stairs, always ascending close to the waterfall. Turn right onto this and follow the gravel road to the asphalt municipal road. Now follow the sign “Wasserfallrunde” pointing to the right until you reach the main road. Turn right and follow the road until you reach the Günstner Wasserfall junction. Turn right again and walk back to the starting point.

There is a public parking lot below the “Wedam” snack bar.
The best time for this tour is from April to October. Information brochures are available at the various information offices.
