More information
By car: Sandwirt Inn – Kesselfall
From the Sandwirt Inn, follow the white and green “R5 Präbichl-Glett Circular Trail” signs heading south. The route climbs gently along Eichkogelstraße through open woodland and past houses and farmsteads. After passing a farm, the trail reaches a small chapel with a bench. Here, the R5a variant branches right towards the Theisslwirt with a moderate ascent.
After a short return section to a junction, the route continues right and later reconnects with the main trail. The paved road continues to the hamlet of Bloder. From there, the route changes to a forest trail and descends towards the lower end of the Kesselfall Gorge.
Via the Steintor rock arch, the partly steep forest path leads over rocky and uneven ground back to the Sandwirt.
