Panorama Tour 737
Characteristics
SkillThe tour in numbers
Wide views, fresh spring water and alpine scenery define this enjoyable tour around St. Radegund and the Schöckl.
The fully signposted Panorama Cycle Route lives up to its name, with impressive panoramic views accompanying the entire ride. A good level of fitness or an e-bike is recommended, as the tour is physically demanding with climbs of up to 800 metres of elevation.
A particular highlight is the Schöckl, Graz’s local mountain and the region’s classic viewpoint. The ascent can be tackled by bike, while those preferring a more relaxed option can take the cable car to the top.
The Schöckl loop can also be started in Graz, reaching Kalkleiten via a short but steep climb. From here, wide-ranging views open up over the city and as far as the Gleinalm, Slovenia and Hungary. The route runs mainly on low-traffic roads. Inns along the way and in St. Radegund invite riders to enjoy culinary breaks. Additional relaxation can be found along the nearby spring trails with Kneipp facilities, forest showers and at the Calvary Hill.
