Loop around the historic centre of Semriach with fine views. Short, family friendly walk close to the village.

The Market Circular Trail (R1) loops around the historic centre of Semriach on easy terrain with short ascents and frequent open views of the surrounding area. Starting at Semriacherhof, the route follows minor roads, sidewalks and short path sections, linking village areas with quieter stretches. Landmarks such as a wayside shrine, the cemetery and the parish church help with orientation. The trail is well signposted throughout.

By car: Drive to Semriach, in the village turn right and continue 200 m to GH Semriacherhof.

Start at Semriacherhof. Turn left onto Windhofstraße, then after about 150 m right onto Florianiweg. Follow the family friendly path to the Löffler wayside shrine, then continue via Hitzendorfweg down towards the centre. At the petrol station, take the sidewalk along the main road and pass the Spar store to the Tasche Hubstraße junction. Follow Hubstraße north to the Kirchengasse turnoff. Near the Lagerhaus, turn left, pass a car dealership and continue below the cemetery to Tiefweg. From the cemetery road, head uphill to the parish church of Semriach. Continue to the main square and back to the starting point.
