Hike from Semriach through shady forests and along meadow paths, discovering the fairy tale forest and interesting educational boards about the local flora.

The Lehrwanderweg (R11) starts at the main square in Semriach and leads through the varied landscape of the Grazer Bergland on forest and meadow paths. Along the route, you'll pass the fairy tale forest with its many display cases, as well as an informative trail about the local flora and fauna, while enjoying frequent views of the surrounding area.

Über die A9 Pyhrn Autobahn oder S35 Brucker Schnellstraße, Abfahrt Peggau-Deutschfeistritz Anfahrtsplaner

The trail starts at the main square in Semriach, heading north to Marktbach and continuing uphill past the secondary school into the Bürgerwald with the fairy tale path. The route then follows forest and meadow paths through a ravine, crossing to the opposite side before ascending a steep section, first downhill and then uphill again, leading to the Karl am Stein area. From there, the trail heads southwards downhill, then turns right back into Bürgerwald and follows the familiar path back to the starting point in Semriach.
