This hike starts from the town center of Langenwang, leading to Pretul and then continuing to the village of Lechen.

This leisurely hike, marked with number 12, takes us from the town center through Pretulgraben to the village of Lechen (towards Hönigsberg). From there, we continue through Gutenbrunn and Pichlwang, ultimately returning to the center of Langenwang.

S6 Semmering Expressway – Exit Langenwang.

We start our hike at Hotel Krainer in the center of Langenwang and turn left onto Wiener Straße, following it until we reach the intersection with Pretulstraße. At the turnoff to Pretulstraße, we turn right and follow the road into Pretulgraben.

Shortly after the quarry, we cross the Pretulbach to the left and continue through a small settlement towards Riesenbauer. At the second hairpin turn, we stay to the west, and then the path turns northeast, leading us to the municipal boundary of Hönigsberg.

Now, in the Langenwang district of Lechen, we follow the Zimmersdorfbach until we reach the Kranzbauer farm. From here, we hike through Gutenbrunn and Pichlwang, returning to the town center of Langenwang.

Take the train to Langenwang station and continue on foot to the town center of Langenwang.
Free parking is available directly in the town center of Langenwang.
