MTB signage is being further improved
Throughout 2026, we continue to improve and standardize our MTB signage system. As part of this process, existing signposts are being adjusted, locations are being optimized, and some route numbers are being updated.
During this transition period, there may occasionally be minor differences in the signage on site. Thank you for your understanding – these improvements will create a clearer and more user-friendly guidance system for your bike experience.

More information
From Graz: Follow the A9 to Liezen. There, take the B320 and continue in the direction of Schladming. Leave the road at the exit "Hauser Kaibling".
The starting point of this scenic loop is the Hauser Kaibling cable car valley station, heading in the direction of Schladming. In the center of Haus im Ennstal, the route turns left towards Oberhaus. From there, it continues past the Stöcklhütte and the Knapplhütt’n into the idyllic Gumpental valley.
Once in Gumpental, a short detour to the Stanglalm is well worth it – the perfect place for a snack or a short break. The route then continues almost entirely flat to Gumpenberg, passing the renowned Hotel Höflehner. A steep, paved descent follows down to Ruperting, after which a relaxed final section takes you back to the starting point in Haus.
- Plan breaks: Along the route, many huts and inns invite you to stop for a relaxing break and enjoy regional specialties.
- E-mountain bike: With electric support, the tour is also suitable for less experienced bikers. There are several e-bike charging stations along the route. Their locations can be seen on the map and in the elevation profile, making it easy to plan your tour and possible charging stops.
