From Semriach through the fairy tale forest and the Rötschgraben along varied forest and meadow trails with wide views across the Grazer Bergland.
The Grand Panorama Circular Trail (R3) starts at the main square in Semriach and follows well-marked paths through dense forests and open meadows with recurring views across the Grazer Bergland. The route leads through the fairy tale forest, the Rötschgraben and past the Sieglwirt inn (closed) before returning to Semriach.

By car: Semriach center
From the main square in Semriach, the trail heads north to the Marktbach and then climbs past the secondary school to the Bürgerwald with its fairy tale trail (Märchenpfad). The route continues along forest and meadow paths through the valley to the northernmost point at Karl am Stein.
This is followed by a descent to the former Sieglwirt inn and further downhill to Unterer Windhof, with a branch east towards Tratthof and passing the Icelandic horse farm. The lowest point is reached in the Rötschgraben. A steady ascent along forest and meadow trails leads back to the center of Semriach.
