Feistritz Castle Floodplain Trail

We begin our leisurely hike at Rosegger Park in the center of Krieglach. From here, Bürstadt- and Pestalozzistraße lead us across the Hönigtal Bridge onto the R5 (Mürztal Cycle Path). We follow the generously designed cycle path to Feistritz Castle, where we turn right and cross a wooden bridge into the Langenwanger Au. Before the underpass, we turn left, and about 500 meters after the sundial, we turn right and pass under the railway underpass. At the next crossroad (near the OMV gas station), we turn right again and reach a little-used road that leads us back to Krieglach. At the roundabout, we take the exit towards the Water and Nature Experience Area and return to Rosegger Park in the town center via Lastenstraße.
