From Haus im Ennstal past the golf course until Oberhaus and back again.

Easy hike along the Enns river and via an accompanying path back to Haus im Ennstal. In any case, you should plan a visit to the Gothic Margarethenkirche (built in 1520) in Oberhaus - entrance south portal. The church is freely accessible during the day. The detour pays off for culturally interested in any case.

Ennstalbundesstraße (B320) - Haus im Ennstal - Schlossplatz

From the outdoor swimming pool Haus straight ahead towards Enns and after a few meters turn left. In a westerly direction next to the Enns river along a dirt road to the Birnbergstraße. Pass the Schladming-Dachstein golf course to the village of Oberhaus. The path leads back from the restaurant KulmiNarium to the village of Haus and to the outdoor swimming pool.

Ever experienced a golf course in winter dormancy :-)! That is possible on this tour. But please do NOT leave the asphalt paths, so that the golfers can enjoy the wonderful green again in summer.

Safety information

Safety on the mountainside: changes in the weather, sudden fall in temperature, thunder storms, wind, fog and snow fields are all objective dangers and require the correct behaviour whilst underway. the landlords of the huts are all very knowledgeable about the mountains and can give you good tips about the weather and the routes. Insufficient equipment, exaggerated opinion of ones capabilities, frivolousness, poor health condition and a false evaluation of the situation can lead to a critical situation. In thunder storms: summits, crest-sites and safety rope aids are to be avoided.
