Ennstalbundesstraße (B320) until Aich

This tour starts at the village square Aich. The first part of this tour leads to a railroad crossing, which you have to pass over and then (before the Enns bridge) directly turn right. Walk in eastern direction along the Enns into the so-called "Au". Continue to a wooden bridge over the Enns, cross it and go under the federal highway underpass. Then walk slightly uphill to the village of Assach. From there, return in a westerly direction to Aich.

Easy winter hike for the whole family, which is also suitable for (winter proof) strollers.

Safety on the mountainside: changes in the weather, sudden fall in temperature, thunder storms, wind, fog and snow fields are all objective dangers and require the correct behaviour whilst underway. the landlords of the huts are all very knowledgeable about the mountains and can give you good tips about the weather and the routes. Insufficient equipment, exaggerated opinion of ones capabilities, frivolousness, poor health condition and a false evaluation of the situation can lead to a critical situation.
